Our Customers Say
  • I just wanted to follow up and say that I did end up purchasing this product. I've installed it and it works perfectly. I'm a bit of a skeptic, especially when competing products cost 3x as much. I'm very happy with this purchase, and I really do appreciate the input you provided to convince me to try it out. I'd be happy to give any review for this for the skeptic customer such as myself. Sincerely, Ian

For the last few years we have sold Wall plates of all types and configurations. We have also received many requests for Banana plugs from out customers. In researching this area we have learned so much that it actually made the decision more complicated on what is the right type and configuration.

There are a lot of choices out in the market today. We decided that if we are going to do Banana plugs then lets do Banana plugs right.

We elected to go with LOCKING Banana Plugs because it is the best Banana plug we would find.

Why Locking Banana plugs?
The 2 other type are pin type and compression type.

Pin type - has to be tightened down on the pin which means it does not make a 360 degree contact.
Compression - the type that plugs in to the speakers or wall plates don't always fit snuggly. This of course can have an affect on your overall sound as you are NOT getting a solid 360 contact or a firm contact into the connector.

Locking Banana plugs really solve the problem. The end of the banana plug spreads at the tip as you hand tighten the banana plug by rotating the outer shell of the plug. The result is you get a 360 degree contact with all of the metal of the contacts providing you a SOLID and FIRM contact.

Simply put this is a no excuse Banana plug

Materials - In working with the vendors in Asia we got an education on types of metals, uses, longevity, corrosiveness and conduciveness of the materials.
Our Banana plugs are constructed with the best materials.
  • Material is BRASS C3604
  • 24K gold plated on connectors
  • Painted and polished shell

  • Why - BRASS C3604
Somewhat similar to gold. It is relatively resistant to tarnishing, and is often used as decoration and for coins. Brass has higher malleability than copper or zinc. Brass is stronger and harder than copper, but not as strong or hard as steel. It is easy to form into various shapes, a great conductor of heat, and generally resistant to corrosion.

The locking pin - It is essential that the locking pin be created of high quality material and created in high standards to fit with most brands, types and sizes of speaker wire.

Little things like having extended screw length is important to ensue your speaker wire is fully compressed and secure. We have thoroughly tested the locking pin with multiple brands of the most common sizes of speaker wire. ( 12, 14 and 16 gauge )

Outer shell - Is also made of brass and is painted and polished finish. It looks Stunning! The design of the outer body provides you with a stylish design that you can easily grip onto.

Using the Locking Banana plugs - Simple easy to use instructions.

  • Remove the locking pin from the outer shell by rotating the outer shell counter clock wise.
  • Strip back your speaker wire approximately ¾ of on inch to expose the copper wire.
  • Back out the 2 secure set screws on the locking pin and slide your wire into the locking pin. Now tighten the 2 secure set screws securely onto your exposed copper wire of your speaker cable.
  • Insert the locking pin back into the outer shell and rotate the outer shell counter clock wise. As you rotate the outer shell you will see the end begin to start spreading. Ensure you don't have to spread so it will fit into the connector you want to connect to.
  • Insert the Banana plug into the connector and rotate the outer shell while holding the bottom of the pin and the end will expand providing you a firm and secure connection.
