The camera/cable diameter is 3/4 inch, so it will fit into tight spaces. The cable is semi-rigid, but flexible, and can be bent to fit or follow the shape of the vehicle or component being viewed. The manufacturer recommends that you limit the bend radius to three inches, however, to prevent cable damage.
Using the Wireless Inspection Camera
The Wireless Inspection Camera display is clear, even in moderately bright light and, since there is no focus adjustment to fiddle with, you just point and shoot.
Our Wireless Inspection Camera allows for remote inspection of areas generally inaccessible to the naked eye. The Wireless Camera comes with a distal video camera at the end of a 3 ft shaft for internal inspection of engines, A/C systems, interior structures of walls, and other industrial and similar applications.
Imaging and illumination is provided by a full color image sensor and dual solid state Led's which are controlled by an easy to use rolling switch.
The 2.4" full color LCD screen allows the user to view live video from the lens.
The hand held unit is powered by 4-AA batteries. The Video Monitor is powered by rechargeable batteries that are already installed in the unit. They just need to be charged. ( AC adapter is included )
Accessory Mirror allows user to see 90 degrees to axis of the shaft. The Magnet accessory will pick up approx 1/4 lb and a hook is also provided for hard to retrieve items.
Its very easy to use and here is even a few tricks:
Recording what the camera is seeing is easy. Just plug in any Video MINI Jack (3.5mm not included but found at CE super stores ) into the video input on the side and then plug the video input into either a VCR or TV input. It is that simple.
If you see a bright white screen, you probably have the camera lens right up against a reflective surface that is bouncing the LED light back into the camera, creating glare. Just pull the probe back a bit.
If you are working inside a contained area with little or no ambient light, remember that the Led's are providing the illumination. Moving the camera tip in and out a bit can improve lighting on the object for the best screen display.
When using the mirror for right angle views, clean the mirror glass carefully with a lint-free cloth. Small specks of dirt and dust and fingerprints degrade the screen image.
